Camex takes great pride in supporting local charities and events in the Nisku and surrounding district as many of these institutions and events have touched the lives of our employees, their families, and friends in a very positive way. Camex is very aware and appreciative of the many support systems and outreach programs that are in place and available to those in need – we are happy to be able to be a part of the solution, enhancing care services for a stronger, healthier community. We strongly believe sporting and social events along with individual sponsorship contribute to a fuller, more diverse and vibrant community.

We receive numerous requests for sponsorship and donations throughout the year and although it is not possible to cater to them all, we will make every effort to listen and respond. An important criteria we look for is that the sponsorship or event benefits the community as a whole and/or the residents.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of Wally Taschuk, the President of Camex Equipment.

Walter (Wally) Taschuk

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of Wally Taschuk, the President of Camex Equipment.

Camex has lost a President, a great boss and an outstanding salesman.

Those of us who had been fortunate enough to know and work with Wally have lost a colleague, an inspiring mentor and more importantly a friend. To Wally, Camex was his home and the employees were his extended family and he always tried to look after them to the best of his ability. He was a very generous and caring man, and strongly believed in supporting the local community.

No words can adequately express our sadness at Wally’s sudden passing, or our gratitude for the opportunity to have worked with him. He will be dearly missed.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Daystar Church, 3610 Gaetz Road (Rge. Rd. 250), Leduc , AB. Reception to follow.

Out of respect for Wally Taschuk, Camex will be closing at 12:00 pm, September 20, 2016.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cross Cancer Society, 11560 University Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5G 1Z2
